FXTM was proud to once again be among the experts invited to contribute at the 2017 China Forex Expo. This two-day event ran from May 6-7, and featured market leaders in currency trading, crypto currency, binary options and a host of financial instruments. The organisers welcomed tens of thousands of attendees to the event, which took place in Shenzhen.

FXTM’s Market Analyst Yue Zhong was one of the opening speakers. His presentation, titled ‘Forecast of Global Markets in the 2^nd Half of 2017’, was well received by an audience of up to 70 young and eager traders.

Attendees were treated to an in-depth discussion of topics including:

• The impact of Trump’s presidency on the RMB movement to date.
• The importance of the resistant 7.0 USDCNH point and the necessity of monitoring that level in the months ahead.
• US Federal Reserve actions and their impact on US interest rates and the global market.
• How the EURUSD will fare in the face of continued political uncertainty in Europe.
• What are the main drivers of the Gold price are likely to be over the next few months.

This, the fifth China Forex Expo, was a huge success. The Expo is now solidified as a major event in the Chinese forex calendar, providing brokers, affiliates, traders, and industry experts with a valuable opportunity to learn, network and discuss market movements.

The Ultimate Trading Formula educational seminars were held in Johannesburg and Durban on May 20th and 21st respectively. They were enthusiastically received by the delegates and there was an enormous amount of engagement as Andreas Thalassinos delivered his informative presentation. The feedback from delegates was extremely positive, with many commenting about how easy to understand his content was. South Africans clearly have an appetite for Forex Trading and they have taken the time to learn about how to trade. While many of the delegates had already been trading, they stated that the seminar gave them extremely useful insights and techniques and the help they needed to correct some of the mistakes they have been making.

The seminar in Sandton Johannesburg, was hosted at the beautiful Balalaika Hotel, Sandton where the delegates were treated to delicious food and attention from professional and friendly staff.  The Durban presentation was held at the trendy Gateway Hotel, Durban and they too, provided great food and friendly service.

The Seminar covered:

• Analysing effective trading strategies.
• Exploring the importance of risk management.
• Unravelling the complexities of Fibonacci profit levels.
• Spotting the best potential entry and exit points.

Both events included lively interactive sessions where participants had the opportunity to ask Andreas plenty of questions and even present some of their own theories. The feedback received has been overwhelmingly positive, and Andreas’s sense of humour and entertaining teaching style set the scene for plenty of laughs in between this valuable learning experience.

The seminars were attended by both experienced and novice forex enthusiasts alike – all eager to absorb the insights and strategies presented by Mr Thalassinos -- and they are looking forward to the workshops on May 24, 25 and 26.

The workshops will take traders to the next level of expertise:

• Wednesday 24 May (18:00 – 21:00) - Day 1: Tops & Bottoms Identification
• Thursday 25 (18:00 – 21:00) - Day 2: Reversal Patterns
• Friday 26 (18:00 – 21:00) - Day 3: Entry Confirmation Signals

The workshops will be held at Balalaika Hotel, Maude St, Sandown, Sandton, 2126.

In observance of the upcoming national holidays in the US (Memorial Day on Monday, 29 May), the UK (Spring Bank Holiday on Monday, 29 May), and China (Dragon Boat Festival on Tuesday, 30 May), FXTM’s trading schedule will be changed.
